KCKCC provides life long learning opportunities through traditional associate degree programs (transfer and career/occupational), continuing and community education, and workforce development.

The Workforce Development Department is KCKCC's primary liaison to the business community. The department coordinates an array of services, including: customized training (customer service, human resource, language, leadership, technology), short-term workshops (Board development, diversity, supervision, computer, small business), computer certification programs and testing, improving communication with non-Native English speaking employees and clients (document translation, English/Spanish interpreting, cross-cultural and language training), assisting companies in accessing state training resources, facilitating strategic planning sessions, and profiling and assessing workplace skills for training and hiring purposes.
