Ash Grove Cement Company

A longtime leader in the cement manufacturing industry, Ash Grove Cement Company, headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, operates cement and lime plants in nine states through the Midwest and Pacific Northwest. The eight cement plants operating in the Ash Grove system are some of the most efficient and best maintained in the country. With an annual production capacity of more than 7 million tons of cement, Ash Grove is the fourth-largest cement manufacturer in the United States.

The quality Portland and masonry cements produced at these plants are used for the construction of highways, bridges, commercial and industrial complexes, residential homes, and a myriad of other structures fundamental to America's economic vitality and quality of life.

In addition to the cement operations, the Company operates one lime plant with total production capacity of 270,000 tons per year. Ash Grove lime products are used in many ways including steel and paper manufacturing, municipal water treatment, agriculture, and construction.

In the Kansas City metro region, Ash Grove Materials Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary, operates companies in ready-mixed concrete, aggregate production and packaged concrete products.
